The first place they began looking were the brothels, following a tip from an “unknown source.” Marseille was finally located in a village hotel in the Ardeatine area, and he was somehow convinced to return to his unit. According to Colin Heaton, “When the JU-52 landed without Marseille, Neumann (his commanding officer) inquired where in the hell he was. The German military authority in Rome sent out a missing persons report on Marseille, which landed on the desk of the local Gestapo chief in Rome, Obersturmbannführer Herbert Kappler.23 Within hours a manhunt was underway, news of which even reached Berlin. Wow, I mentioned a lot more artists than I expected!Īt the conclusion of this vacation, HanneLies left for Berlin, and Marseille was to wait for the next transport back to Libya. Current Coldplay may be cringe at times, but their older albums (and even some of their new songs) are still such a nostalgia fest summer childhood daydream for me that I can't seem to escape them. As for musical artists, I would be remiss if I didn't mention Lil Nas X and I still love playing Mozart, Debussy, Liszt, Beethoven, and Rachmaninoff after years and years and years. Indie creators are really pushing the envelope in this day and age. I have a growing respect for Vivienne Medrano and everyone at Spindlehorse, as well as everyone at MDHR. I wouldn't have had a childhood without them, Stephen Hillenburg, and the teams who made Danny Phantom and Fairly Odd Parents. I have great respect for the artists/directors Ron Clements and Jon Musker.

I respect what George Lucas tried to do with Star Wars (even if he failed miserably in some places 😂) he made an iconic universe in so many ways that no one else has succeeded in doing before or since.

I haven't read King's most iconic series/novels, but I can see his grand vision even in his lesser known works, so I'm sure his popular series are just as good if not better. I've only read one of Christie's books, but it left such an impact on me way back in middle school that I still want to mention her. Surprisingly, I can't think of any authors I respect to the same degree, except maybe Agatha Christie and Steven King. They have all created series that have impacted me in ways I can't even begin to explain. I respect Arakawa, Togashi, Haruko Ichikawa, Yamato Yamamoto (fuck what OnS became, but that's not the artist's fault), Makoto Yukimura, and Hayao Miyazaki. Also, seems I'd be safe from Rumpelstiltskin.įavorite artist: Oh gee bruv idk.

The difficulty people have in pronouncing it or placing its origin makes me feel like it encompasses every part of me, and few can unlock its full potential. I still love my names though, even if my first name is somewhat gendered (not super gendered in my view).

My first name is actually a quirky misspelling by my mom (who's a terrible speller) of my grandma's Irish middle name, so it gets mistaken for being Latine, Arabic, Russian – I don't even know how many ethnicities. My last name was usually replaced by a white/European lookalike. Sometimes, they'd cease to understand the English language and pronounce both names incorrectly even though there's literally no reason my first name should be difficult to pronounce and my last name is a pretty common Latine last name (but what did I expect from suburban white American women, honestly). My last name is Latine, so if people pronounced that correctly, they usually assumed my first name also had a Latine pronunciation even though it isn't spelled like the Latine version at all. But growing up, people always pronounced it wrong. Reasons why you like/dislike your name: I like my name.
